This notice explains what we do with the details you give us. It applies to this website and to trade accounts.

Who we are

Orr Foods is the controller of your personal data. You can reach us at trade@orrfoods.co.uk or on 01632 960 000.

What we collect

When you apply for an account or send an enquiry we collect your name, role, business name, email, phone number, delivery postcode and anything you choose to tell us about what you buy. When you trade with us we also hold order, delivery and payment records.

Why we use it

To assess and open your account, take and deliver orders, invoice and collect payment, and tell you about changes to lines and prices that affect your account. Our lawful bases are taking steps to enter a contract, performing that contract, our legitimate interest in running a trade business, and our legal obligations for tax and food traceability records.

Who sees it

Our staff, our delivery and IT providers, our bank and credit reference agencies where you ask for credit terms, and our accountants. We do not sell your data.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become accounts are deleted after 12 months. Account and transaction records are kept for six years after the account closes.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email us to do so. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
